Pipe lay system SAS Gouda

In opdracht van Sas Gouda werden brackets en trackbody’s vervaardigd. Trackbody’s worden gebruikt om pijpleidingen die subsea gelegd worden (in dit geval 4 km aan pijpleidingen op 3 km diepte) bij elkaar te houden tijdens het leggen van de pijpen op de oceaanbodem.

Gedeeltelijk fabriceerde HM Holland de trackbody’s, onderdelen van het pipe-laysysteem. Deze trackbody (uppers en lowers) pakt pijpen beet, klemt deze af met grote kracht en brengt deze in positie. De kwaliteitseisen zijn door de klant opgelegd en van een zeer hoog niveau.
